The Genesis Group was founded in 1988 with an ex GEC Marconi management team.
The company specialised in Silicon Graphics and Apple Macintosh related technologies and operated exclusively in the newly emerging desktop publishing marketplace a full twelve months before Microsoft launched its first version of Windows in 1989. Over the following years the company grew rapidly and in 1995 decided to add Microsoft and Linux products to its increasingly diverse portfolio.
Since then the company has become an international IT support provider and in the last two years alone, has acquired majority shareholdings in Complete Synergy, Sky Web and Wildfire 1. Turnover growth continues to exceed 120% per annum (based on the last three fiscal years trading) and the company now provides support on all IT systems from telecommunications to high redundancy web servers, PDA's to Active Directory implementation.
With such a diverse product portfolio, Genesis also remains committed to its core Unix and Silicon Graphics roots.
